More NATO straps
Initially, I didn’t like NATO straps. I personally felt as though they cheapened the look of a watch, but I’ve turned the corner. They do certainly have their time and place. For me, that place is mainly on tool watches. I think they look great on pilots and divers. Recently, we’ve discovered a new shop selling some great colorful designs.
NATO Strap Supply is based out of the Washington DC area. It appears as their current inventory consists of only striped straps in 18mm and 20mm widths. Browsing through their posts on Twitter and Instagram, they’ve noted that more colors (including solids) and sizes are in their future. All straps are priced at $12 and shipping is a flat $1.99. They offer some freebies such as a pair of spring bars free with every order and a spring bar tool if your order is over $50.
The next time we need new straps, we’ll be sure to check them out!
